Atlas of Cats 

Lonely Planet Kids’ Atlas of Cats is the purr-fect book for curious kids who want to learn more about the world's most beloved pets. From the Siamese and the Siberian to the Puma and the Caracal, this book will take readers on a journey around the world to meet more than 100 different breeds and species. A follow-up from Lonely Planet’s hugely successful Atlas of Dogs, this book is jam-packed with fact-filled profiles which give the low-down on these feline friends. 

 Atlas of Cats has seen extensive media coverage since its release in August. This book has been widely featured on social media, in print publications, and has also been reviewed by credible critics. National Geographic Magazine in the UK and Australia included an 8-page pullout feature on Atlas of Cats in their August/September issues. The Herald Sun Australia also featured the book in their print edition.

The book took social media by storm over the past month, as book influencers took to Instagram on International Cat Day to share the book with their followers. Princesshoneybelle shared the book with her 394K followers. Other accounts that shared the book on social media include Miss_ivycat (129K), Cat_tigrous (70.3K), Picturebookplaydate (20.8K), Lit.with.wine.dine (29.6K), Latestbookcrush (19.5K) and many more!

Atlas of Cats received fabulous reviews from two well-known book blogs Ms Yingling Reads, Bookworm for Kids and Australian Cat Lover. “More than just cat lovers are sure to enjoy the smorgasbord of information, and pick it up again and again to discover something new each time,” Bookworm for Kids wrote in her review of the book. 

Lonely Planet’s Guide to Death, Grief and Rebirth

Inside Lonely Planet’s Guide to Death, Grief and Rebirth, dark travel expert Anita Isalska takes readers on a journey into 35 fascinating customs surrounding death, grief, and rebirth from around the globe. This book is divided into four key chapters: Celebrating, Commemorating, Mourning, and Offering. Within these chapters, readers will discover resting places, burials, rituals, and symbols associated with death throughout history, imparting valuable lessons on how to live (and die) well.

Since the release of this beautiful and vibrant coffee table book in July, Lonely Planet’s Guide to Death, Grief and Rebirth has garnered widespread media attention, with author Anita Isalska making appearances on a number of well-known broadcast channels worldwide. In Australia, Isalska appeared on ABC Melbourne Radio (1:19:00), ABC Life Matters, and ABC Sydney (3:38:00). In the US, Suswati Basu from the How to Be Podcast interviewed Isalska on the new release and the grief customs featured within the book. In the UK, Isalska appeared on BBC Scotland and BBC East Midlands.

In a review by Publisher’s Weekly, the book was described as: “An eye-opening tour of the varied ways cultures grapple with what lies beyond. Readers will be glad to take the trip." In the June issue of Prima Magazine, the book got featured under their travel book recommendations. Anita Isalska also wrote articles about Lonely Planet’s Guide to Death, Grief and Rebirth for the New Zealand Herald and Prevention Australia.
