Lonely Planet turns 50 this year and, to celebrate, our guidebooks are getting a glow up! Releasing from May 2023, our traditional “bluespine” guides will now feature an all new structure and design.

Based on extensive consumer research, we've identified that today’s travelers are seeking more local content, fresh takes on ways to experience popular hotspots and off-the-beaten track recommendations.
